General Rules/Information: 1. Contest will run from September 25th - December 31st, 2010 2. Contestants must be 18 years or older to enter. 3. Legally harvested deer must be taken in Ohio ONLY. 4. Bucks harvested will be scored by one of the official scorers (Mark or Rich). 5. Score of buck will be determined by using the example below. 6. Deer may be taken by shotgun, black powder, or archery equipment during the appropriate season. 7. Final results will be announced at the end of the contest. 8. If right antler is obviously deformed or broken (shot off or broken by natural causes), the left antler will be used for scoring purposes. 9. First tiebreaker will be diameter of right antler base (measured to nearest 1/8”). 10. Second tiebreaker will be length of the G2 on the right side of rack. 11. All decisions made by the scorer are final. 12. Non-refundable payment must be made at the time of application (cash or check). 13. Buck must be scored within 3 days of harvest and a picture of the hunter with his/her buck must also be submitted at the time of score to be eligible for prize(s). 14. If applicants apply after September 25th, there will be a 48 hour (2 day) waiting period before a buck can be submitted 15. Failure to follow contest rules are grounds for disqualification. *Example of Scoring Method to be used for Contest: Number of Points (must be at least 1” long) 10” Inside Antler Spread (measured to nearest 1/8”) 15” Right Antler Beam Length (measured to nearest 1/8”) 18” Diameter of Right Antler Base (measured to nearest 1/8”) 2” TOTAL SCORE (SUM) 45
